But I bet you can still make the turn without first swirving out... try it.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;But the amount of swerve left before turning right such as in my post is not enough to make any real difference to the angle of turn or the thrust line. You're right in saying the rear wheels follow the front, however, the straighter you drive at the something, the less space you will take up in the turn.  Say there is a big fence with a small gate to drive through, it will be impossible to turn into that gate approaching it parrallel to the gate, however, if turning out then in (and making your angle more perpendicular, the angle is widened and you are able to drive through without scratching the side of your car.  &lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Matt</dc:creator><pubDate>Thu, 20 Nov 2008 17:44:09 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
